Let Those Energies Create Space

Let Those Energies Create Space

Grandmother Wind is writing after a little hiatus with some new experiences and insights to share. I have been on a hiatus from you here, but certainly not on a hiatus from life and commitments. Life doesn’t stop, does it? Our loved ones and our beloved jobs still require us to show up fully - regardless of how tired we may be or how anxious we may be feeling.

You may expect the Patchwork Grandmothers to say, “Slow down. Take care of yourself.” Which of course is true. But today, they are sending out a different message. One that reminds us:

  • to honour whatever we are going through at whatever moment we happen to notice.

  • that nothing is given to us that we can’t handle.

  • to tune in and pay attention.

Their message today is: Let those Energies Create Space.

Be Yourself

Be Yourself

When you have the courage to be yourself, you become your own best friend.

YOU become that special someone who gives you the love and support you always wanted. And that makes you very magnetic to be around. One who loves him or herself (or themselves) is much more capable of being a best friend to others.

You are the Ocean of Creation

You are the Ocean of Creation

The Patchwork Grandmothers would like to share a few direct words with you. Enjoy the love they continually send your way.

My precious Grandchild.

You do not need to look at the surface of a still pond to see the true reflection of your Sacred Nature.

Everything around you is a reflection of your Sacredness.

A moment to moment representation of your state of Being.

Look around you, Grandchild.

What do you see?

Do you see the beauty of life? In a smile of a stranger? Or a bird’s song?

Or do you see only ugliness?

Take the reflections as teachers.

Nobody Owes You

Nobody Owes You

The Patchwork Grandmothers are my incredibly wise and loving, ancestral teachers who see with a higher perspective on the other side of the veil. They watch over their grandchildren, who are their human family. Their message today is: no one owes you.

This is a tricky one for us human beings. I had a pretty strong attachment to believing that people do owe me, or this world owes me. I wrestled with this one, so the only reason why I can even bring it up and let it come through me is because I’ve come to understand their perspective. And it’s a good one. For many years, and for many scenarios and situations that took me a long time to dissect, I believed that the world owed me. They owed me for the wrongs done to me, to my family and to my people. I held on to those wrongs very strongly, but I was hanging onto a victim’s stance. I was hanging onto a place of powerlessness. Yet somehow, hanging onto that victimhood and believing people owed me, gave me power.

Be Transparent

Be Transparent

The Grandmothers are always saying that we have beauty to share. All of who we are; the flaws, or our perceived flaws, as well as our gifts, are all what makes us unique and beautiful. Being transparent is a commitment to looking at all those little shadowed places—those places that we hide from the world thinking that nobody could possibly love those parts. And, that’s a lie. It’s a total falsehood because the Grandmothers, from their perspective say, “It’s all lovable. You’re the only one who doesn’t think so.”

I am a Music Messenger

I am a Music Messenger

I am coining the term “Music Messenger” because I’ve discovered a profound change occurring in the hearts of a particular kind of musician.

We are birthing a spiritual movement that manifests as a deep commitment to serve humanity. Our songs are like prayers and we want to elevate our words, our subjects and our songs to a high calibre for the benefit of others.
