I have named 2019 to be, “The Year of the Rise of the Sacred Feminine.” In truth, the rise of the Sacred Feminine has been going on for decades. I just think we should put words on paper about this shift from a Masculine-aligned world to one where both the Feminine and the Masculine principals are revered. The more we record our observations of a shifting paradigm, the more evidence will appear.
As an expert in Feminine Leadership, I’ve been asked what exactly Feminine Leadership means. Of course, on first glance it seems to mean women in leadership, which of course it can mean. But that is not the full meaning.
Feminine leadership is another one of the 21st century leadership models emerging out of the old, hierarchical, top-down, control leadership model. Just like service leadership, Indigenous leadership, team, collaborative or mission-oriented leadership, Feminine leadership focuses on a well-rounded, healthier approach to business and community.
I was feeling the Spirit of the holidays and wanted to align with the teachings of the Patchwork Grandmothers and other ancient teachers about true service. So what is true service exactly?
Service is a gift from the heart and mind. True service is to give freely of yourself with no expectations of receiving anything in return. You do me a great honour by reading my blog. Please accept a gift from me that helps you with 10 gift Ideas for the holidays. Plus, I love the fact that I can help support these amazing people/companies.
Are you asking yourself, “Why isn’t anything happening?” Or “where did my passion go?”
If so, then I have good news.
The Patchwork Grandmothers say “Let it go for a while!” They love a good, blank slate to work with. And by blank slate they mean empty, hollow, sluggish, dispassionate, and lacking enthusiasm.
I don't know why it is… that when our lives kick into high gear, or when events happen that break our heart, like someone transitioning to the Spirit World, or losing a job, or a dream falling through, or friendships and relationships changing, we bottom out. We turn on ourselves with judgement. We tend to think that it means something bad about us.
The Patchwork Grandmothers say this is not so. From where the they sit in the Spirit Realm, they see these intensely creative and Sacred Beings, who walk around forgetting Who They Are. They encourage us and remind us Who We Are because our Sacred Lineage goes all the way to the Creator. We are all Sacred Beings here on this planet.
On this Earth walk, we forget who we are and think we are not enough. The message from the Patchwork Grandmothers is You are MORE than enough.
You are enough.
Grandmother Wind is writing after a little hiatus with some new experiences and insights to share. I have been on a hiatus from you here, but certainly not on a hiatus from life and commitments. Life doesn’t stop, does it? Our loved ones and our beloved jobs still require us to show up fully - regardless of how tired we may be or how anxious we may be feeling.
You may expect the Patchwork Grandmothers to say, “Slow down. Take care of yourself.” Which of course is true. But today, they are sending out a different message. One that reminds us:
to honour whatever we are going through at whatever moment we happen to notice.
that nothing is given to us that we can’t handle.
to tune in and pay attention.
Their message today is: Let those Energies Create Space.
