I don't know why it is… that when our lives kick into high gear, or when events happen that break our heart, like someone transitioning to the Spirit World, or losing a job, or a dream falling through, or friendships and relationships changing, we bottom out. We turn on ourselves with judgement. We tend to think that it means something bad about us.
The Patchwork Grandmothers say this is not so. From where the they sit in the Spirit Realm, they see these intensely creative and Sacred Beings, who walk around forgetting Who They Are. They encourage us and remind us Who We Are because our Sacred Lineage goes all the way to the Creator. We are all Sacred Beings here on this planet.
On this Earth walk, we forget who we are and think we are not enough. The message from the Patchwork Grandmothers is You are MORE than enough.
You are enough.
The very air you breathe is enough. The grief you feel is enough. No matter what's happening to you in your life, you are enough. Your experiences are the game of Life but they never take away your sacredness and they never take away who you really are. Sometimes we forget this, which is why the Grandmothers’ messages are very simple. We can complicate anything. A reminder that we are enough is a message that we almost need to hear daily. I don't know about you, but I can turn against myself in an instant. I have tools now and I may not stay there very long but I still need to be reminded every day that I am enough. That what I offer the world is enough, that my smile is enough, that my talents are enough, that my friends and my relationships, that what I do in them and what I receive in them, is enough.
There is enough. For all.
You are enough. No matter what's going on in your life, no matter how you turn against yourself, let this moment be one where you change your mind. Let this be a moment where you remember that all of your offerings are sacred. And all of it is enough. In fact, it's necessary and needed in this world. You are needed in this world.
All of your foibles, different qualities, your thoughts, dreams, upsets, all of those things are needed in the world. When we hear from you, the world is changed. You may not see that change but all of those little contributions from all of you Sacred Beings help change the world.
You are enough. You are more than enough. Today, I hope you will remember that message by accepting yourself and recognizing your beauty. Today, I hope you will pass on the message to others that they are enough too.
We are enough. And we all need to hear it.
